Alfie who was born November 2005, moved to live with us when we lived in Belgium and was the beginning of our love affair with the breed. Sadly we lost him at the grand age of 14 years and 4 months in March 2020.
Shadow was born in February 2009 and moved to live with us when she was eight weeks old. She went on to be an amazing family pet and mother of four litters of puppies. She crossed the rainbow bridge in November 2022 at the age of 13 years 9 months.
Aristotle was the smallest in Shadow’s first litter, born in September 2011, so knew no other home. We were smitten with him from the start and couldn’t bear to send him to any other home. He crossed the rainbow bridge in December 2023.
Wilma moved here from Switzerland when she was seventeen weeks old. She was born in July 2015 and is now a very well loved senior dog. She enjoyed her year of ‘only dog’ status, until we got her a puppy!
Pebbles is the latest addition to the family. She was born in the UK to the Waldershelf kennel in October 2025. As long as she passes her tests, she will go on to be the next generation of Torfheide breeding dogs.
