Our aim is to help protect a healthy breed for the future, keeping it true to type of its Swiss origin and fit for its original purpose of cattle herding. We breed for health, character and appearance following the Swiss system of ‘Ankörung’ (Breeding test) to assess breeding dogs on all three areas. Dogs which do not pass these stringent tests are not used in our breeding programme.
We are proud to work under the rules of the Entlebucher Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain, which seeks to uphold these high standards of breeding and which exceeds the standards required by the Kennel Club Assured Breeder Scheme, under which we have been recognised since 2011.
