I’m Wilma. When I arrived I was the youngest in the household. Sadly, as I write, I am an only dog having lost by buddies over the last few years. I had hoped to take over breeding from Shadow. Unfortunately I have a heart murmur and although the specialist says it should not affect my life, our rules say no dog with a heart murmur can breed, so that was that. The rule is partly to protect future generations of the breed, but also for my own welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My breeder called me ‘Wild Wilma’ but I don’t think that’s altogether fair. Ok, so I worked out how to dismantle the crate in my new home in five minutes flat, could clear the dog gates and am told I’m too bright for my own good, but I’m not wild. <\/p>\n\n\n

I’m easy to find. Wherever my human is that is where I will be. She and I are very close and neither of us functions well without the other. Where she goes, I go. I go in the car, on the train anything as long as we’re together. Unlike most of my breed I don’t dislike strangers, or it didn’t before COVID. Sadly, too long apart from random people followed by a long period of ill health, really didn’t do me any good. Other than that, Mum says I’m pretty nearly perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2025: I’m not an only dog anymore. As you’ll read from Pebbles’ page, I got my own puppy in December last year. That’s the last time I’m asking for a puppy for Christmas – she’s crazy. Anyway, I’ll leave her to introduce herself.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
